Preschool French

Preschool French sessions aim to provide nursery and preschool children with an accessible introduction to French through action songs, finger rhymes, circle dance, stories and games.

Very young children develop basic French interaction skills and vocabulary in a way that resembles their natural first language acquisition, with the help of lots of props and miming. Preschool French sessions develop children’s ability to concentrate, and bring benefits in the following areas:

  • Communication and Language
  • Personal, Social and Emotional
  • Movement and Coordination
  • Literacy and Numeracy

Weekly sessions can be offered to a preschool group (subject to enough supervisory assistance for compliance to adult-child ratios), or to a limited number of children as a private extra-curricular activity at the end of their preschool day (subject to at least one supervisor remaining on the premises).
